The Night Circus feels like a classic, and it is an elegant and wonderfully written.

When I think of ways to describe the writing style of The Night Circus the word ‘epic’ creeps to mind, though in a more grand nature. This book is really quite spectacular, Morgenstern’s writing is quite spectacular. I actually read this a fair while ago but I am slowly but surely putting some more of my reviews onto my blog from my previous reads.

When the tents are all aglow, sparkling against the night sky, the sign appears.

The black sign, painted in white letters that hangs upon the gates, reads:Īs the sun disappears beyond the horizon, all over the tents small lights begin to flicker, as though the entirety of the circus is covered in particularly bright fireflies. It is simply there, when yesterday it was not.
